In the early days of his long and rewarding career Nabil Totah appeared at:

  • The original “Birdland” with Johnny Smith, Harry Edison, Stan Getz and Bobby Scott
  • “The Composer” with Cy Coleman and George Wallington.

He was also seen regularly at the “Half Note”, went on tour with Al Cohn and Zoot Sims, and had a twenty-year alliance with the “Gene Krupa Quartet.”
